Please join us, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm, on Tuesday Evening, the 11th, in Legacy Rooms C&D for a screening of the award winning film,  Kilowatt Ours, a Jeff Barrie production. Jeff Barrie will introduce the film and take questions afterwards. This film takes viewers on a journey from the production of energy to its end use in our homes and businesses and argues for the development of clean sustainable energy sources and using the energy produced in a conservative and efficient manner. DVD’s will be available for purchase after the film.

Break-Out Sessions - The purpose of discussion is to solicit ideas on issues such as:

  • What are the most pressing regulatory barriers to clean and sustainable energy build-up in the Southeast and how might we overcome those barriers?
     
  • The economics surrounding clean, sustainable energy in the Southeast.
     
  • What technologies are ready for rollout, and what can be done to encourage commercialization of bench-scale technologies?
     
  • What specific actions are needed to push Clean and Sustainable Energy Solutions in the Southeast by various stakeholders such as state legislators, congress, environmental groups, local economic development agencies, counties and municipalities, design and manufacturing corporations, legal area, public relations and your organization?
     
  • What is the role for, and how to encourage, collaboration and communication among industry, government, and other stakeholders in the Southeast on clean and sustainable energy issues?
